Rapa island is the farthest while Raivavae is known to be the prettiest island. Plus, the Austral Islands include two small uninhabited islands – Maria and the Marotiri Rocks. This cruise will take you on a 7 or 10 night trip from Tahiti, the largest island in French Polynesia to Rimatara, the smallest island of the Austral archipelago. After getting acquainted with this beautiful island, you will sail to Tubuai and its fabulous lagoon with crystal-clear water. Finally, you will get to Raivavae island. It is a real paradise with beautiful landscapes, fresh climate, and hospitable people. Returning to Papeete, the capital of Tahiti will mark the end of your exciting journey. Our cruise makes 2 trips per month.
If you are a true remote island enthusiast, you will want to visit Rapa, the most distant island in French Polynesia. We offer a 10-night cruise with a stop in this remote island that has no airport. Our passengers will have a great opportunity to explore the pristine nature of this mountainous island, meet local people, see fortresses and ancient ruins. The Tuhaa Pae IV ship makes 10 to 12 voyages to this island each year. Become a real adventurer and book the Grand Tour including Rapa!
The moment you get aboard our ship, you plunge into the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Get ready to have fun during the whole trip! Our crew members are very friendly people. You will have an opportunity to enjoy delicious meals as you sail from island to island. We also provide a variety of excursions on each island you visit. Each day usually starts with a substantial meal. You can then disembark for your tours at 9 a.m. Keep in mind that you will need to be back on the ship by 4.30 p.m.
